Beautiful right out of the paper + poly sleeve, really incredible soundstage and even bass, all controls are flat and the Heresy IV horns are really delivering Hope’s satin espresso vocals and such a crunchy guitar, haven’t been this pleased with a new record like this .. maybe the Unknown Pleasures red repress .. get it get it now -
So glad they released this again. Visually it's one the best looking records I've seen. Very quiet album and good separation of instruments. Wouldn't say it's audiophile quality but damn close. Def worth picking it up. The songs and Hope's vocals speak for themselves -
Ok, so this record got a second pressing. It was a RSD Essentials release which was my understanding a one time reissue of long gone RSD title. I guess this is not true. Now that I think about it I think the same thing happened to the Chris Isaak RSD release on white vinyl.

This just got a 2nd run repress on 8/16/2024, fyi - same release/variant but with no RSD hype sticker (and slightly different runout). Otherwise identical. My copy sounds good, a little bit of low surface noise on 1st play but should improve after repeat cleanings -
My copy had 3 loud "pops" at the very beginning of Fade into You right out of the box. It even skipped a few times. I cleaned it profusely which helped but loads of crackles throughout. A little disappointed but the deep cleaning helped tremendously. Good Luck.

If anyone in Sydney Australia is still looking for this pressing, they still have a few copies at Red Eye Records in the CBD for $70 -

So why are people buying this album at inflated prices? You can still find this in record stores and online stores for around $30. I see someone just bought it for $75!! That’s crazy!
Don’t pay flipper prices, especially when you can get this record all over the place got a reasonable price. I literally just saw this in a store for $29.
Anyway, this is a great album and this is a beautiful and great sounding pressing!! -

My copy has a few small, deep squiggle scratches. Track 4 on Side A has 47 loud rotational pops. Yes, I counted them. Haha. Trying to see if the record store I purchased from can provide a replacement.
LP comes in a standard white paper sleeve. Jacket is standard cardstock, somewhat flimsy.
