Hey there! I wanted to share a GoFundMe for Ashley, who is facing serious challenges after a stroke and ongoing health issues. Every donation helps provide him with the care and he needs for a better future, so if you could take a moment to click the link below to donate or share it, it would mean a lot. Thank you! -
A true gem! I brought this JBOLP5 version at A1 Records on NYC's Lower East Side last month, still totally stoked with this superb find, perfect medium in a shabby sleeve, can't belief my luck.

Among the best of those albums that take a genre, in this case deep house, on a journey to a place it hasn't maybe been before. This album is almost more of a soul/jazz journey than it is a deep house album, proving the deeper connections between the different genres. Great upbeat mood throughout the entire album, with some cuts beeing deeper than others, but no duds.

I bought this record by mistake in 1996 in Amsterdam in the recordshop Back Beat Records. Downstairs there was a cellar and in 1994/1995 they sold all the backstock of ESP records for only 2,50 gulden (1,25 euro).
Anyway upstairs was all new releases. But this was the best mistake I ever made. It is just a great deep house album. I still listen to it. If you like this kind of stuff from Black Science, I recomment the Altered States E.P. The song New Jersey Deep is just awesome. -
Finally got round to getting this great album 21 years after its release! Love the way the graphics and design of the labels pay homage to Creed Taylor's legendary "CTI" label. Very fitting.
