This is a surprisingly quiet pressing for a splatter. Of course it has some surface noise but it isn’t very noticeable. However, I believe the mastering could have been better, as it sounds quite muffled in some sections, and I also noticed some sibilance during the high parts. -
Edited 12 months agoThe pressing is really good to my ears, and the colour is really striking. No issue of any with my disc. Even the mastering on this vynil is rather uncompressed compared to the 4 previous albums which were all pretty much unlistenable.
As for the music, it is much better than the previous one and the one before (I have a fondness for burning bridges which came after the dreadful "What about now"). This is a very aptly named record, a "modern era Bon Jovi" targeted at the fans, not trying to do anything new. Bon Jovi will "Forever" make the same music since "Have a nice day", this time they did it well
