Dreadful album cover design and it doesn’t say where it was recorded, but other than those two things this album is absolutely brilliant. Great recording quality and I’m satisfied with the quality of the wax.
-
My copy is pretty warped, especially obvious on side 1. My cartridge and MR stylus manages to track it, but just barely and with some audible distortion especially track 1. Thankfully other side is fine and rest of side 1 is ok. Could have been better but recording shines as does performance.
-
Beautiful concert, well-recorded, perfectly mastered and pressed, and a dynamite, balanced song selection--5 from "Indoor Safari," 3 more from his "mature reinvention" period, and one each from the Rockpile years and the Brinsleys. If your local record store has any left, snag it while you can!
