Reviews

I'm on my third copy of this direct from the Wilco store. Unbelievable warping on 8/9 records in every box. I now have to piece together and flatten until i get a whole box. Customer Service has been helpful but this is insane.
-
Edited 3 months agoIt sounds like surface noise during the second Outtakes set: Handshake Drugs (First Version). Anyone else experiencing that? I bought a second copy hoping to swap out the noisy LP but that one had the same noise. It’s a cracking noise toward the beginning of the song and a few other short moments over the remainder of the track.
I also hear two medium-loud “ticks” toward the end of The High Heat, appearing at the exact same spot on my two copies.
Otherwise this is an awesome set and sounds fantastic. -
The remaster of the original album in this box is the best it’s ever sounded. The vinyl is also good. Everyone will complain about the paper sleeves but I just swapped the for MoFi sleeves and it’s all good.
Love the book that they did for this. Bob Mehr wrote the liner notes and it’s fantastic reading. The story about how the rest of the band kept it together while Jeff was in rehab made me cry. Wilco is one of the all time great bands
