I love how the comments here reference "Mr. Lif" and "Onyx"... Never thought I would see those names in the comments here. I worked on some Mr. Lif tracks (mastering) and seeing these refs made me chuckle. Music makes the world go round I guess!

I picked this up after buying many crusaders records and this being suggested alot... worth the 50 cents I paid... it appears they purged their shelfs at the store i go to... this had a regular sticker before markdown

Edited 14 years agoYou know when you put two performers of the caliber of Bob James and Earl Klugh together, the results are going to be good (if you like smooth jazz, that is). Like their later collaboration, Two of a Kind, it's a great record to chill out to. Probably my favorite track is Love Lips, which was well sampled by Mr. Lif on the track Ol' Crew. This record is always dirt cheap in used bins, and if you are a fan of Bob James up through Foxie you should pick it up.
