Limited edition CD-R reissue of out-of-print Alchemy Records CD (1996), licensed by the Nihilist Spasm Band and Alchemy Records (Japan), recorded in Compact Disc Digital Audio (CDDA) format -- NOT mp3 -- faithfully reproducing the sound quality of the Alchemy Records digital master. Supplied in a slim jewel case with a color insert reproducing the original album cover, with notes on selections and personnel.
In 1968, three years after the Nihilist Spasm Band was founded, they released their first album, a vinyl LP called "The Nihilist Spasm Band Record." Retitled as "No Record," it was digitally remastered and reissued on compact disc by Alchemy Records of Japan in 1996 (now out of print). The CD-R offered here is a reissue of the Alchemy Records digital master.
