This is likely the last single from Simon Posford under the name Hallucinogen, while it embraces some new ideas from the crowd and new-school psy scene, it losts some of Hallucinogenic charm---the overall tune is merrier and brighter than Simon's previous works.

Title track, Mi-Loony-Um! is definitely a kill. How Simon managed to do this is beyond our knowledge, but his magic works again. Happy Simon Trip from start to finish as opposed to those dark ones we're used to. Uh-mazing.

The rest two tracks are fillers, nothing outstanding but no big flaws either.

If you're a Simon fan and haven't heard of it, I strongly suggest you grab a copy, for its current price on ebay it's almost a steal. Title track worths all you pay.

This has been Hallucinogen's last single since 2000. He was smart to move forward and into different styles of psychedelic music since then. This particular track isn't as full-on as his later work, but is effectively indicative of the impact of popular progressive trance has upon the genre. Simon pretty much hasn't ever made a bad track.
The B-side is much more explicit in its progressive impression since it is Oliver Lieb remixing LSD. I personally don't think that he did it justice- I think it's a little too thin, however, you record collectors all know that seeing Oliver Lieb on Twisted Records ain't something that happens a lot.
