Reviews
-
I love this album and I was pleasantly surprised how good this version sounds, especially after reading some of the reviews. There was little to no surface noise that I noticed, and it sound very full and dynamic. This is my favorite Alanis album so I'm glad to be able to add it to my collection.

The blue edition is pretty to look at and certainly more collectible, but just as an FYI- this pressing sounds way better!

Nice to have this back in print after about five years with no notice whatsoever or its return. The sound is nice. I was lucky to score a blue copy back in the day and I think I enjoy the blue pressing better but that could be psychological.

From the first track right through, just tweak your sound a little on the Bass & Treble and you’ll really enjoy this press. It’s a great press of a great album (20 years old though now!)

The audio is just a little flat and muddy. Instruments and vocals are kind of jammed & blurred together which doesn't allow for much complexity or isolations to be heard. A tiny bit of surface noise, but I think the pressing is overall pretty decent. The pressing plant should have just mixed the audio more skillfully before it hit the pressing machines. It could be much worse. It's not terrible, nor is it even bad. Just not all that it had the potential to be. I have the limited edition numbered version on blue colored vinyl as well, and that sounds slightly better than the black vinyl. The songs are excellent, which goes without saying. This is an Alanis album, after all.

My copy sounds flat, with very low bass and low volume as well. But absolutely no pops and cracks.
MOV just needs to step up their plastic sleeves quality, all of my MOV LPs have the edges of the plastic sleeves ripped apart just by taking the LPs in and out of the sleeves, it drives me crazy. -
What's the difference between this release and this one http://discogs.desbloquearpagina.com/release/6006176 ???
