Just played mine through, both sides. Sounds great to me, needs a little more volume that most records, but with that added volume it sounds nice and full. No issues as others have mentioned here..

Just unsealed one. Vinyl looks good. A few scuffs from the inner sleeve. Noisy as hell. Just another bad pressing.

My copy of this album sounds great. There are certainly albums from this era that I'd rather listen to on digital, notably Kings of Leon "Because of the Times", but maybe I got lucky with this one.

Mine was new and also very noisy, though it differs between tracks. Some are close to ok and some really bad

A rare example of a post-1988 recording sounding better on vinyl than the cd!

I also purchased this album used and found the surface noise to be unbearable. The album visually was near mint but played horribly. I tired cleaning it with my RCM to no avail. Luckily, my record store is great and allowed me to return it.

My copy, bought used, but cleaned on an Audio Desk Systeme Pro is nice but FILLED with surface noise. Not bad, but constantly there. Again, used, can't speak to new/sealed but noisy. Paid $18 for my used copy and I'll likely never listen to it again.

Another Sonic Youth vinyl I can vouch for. This RTI pressing is fabulous. The mastering is quiet, dynamic, and spacious. The vinyl is also superbly quiet. The music is wonderful
