I own this re-release and mine doesn't come with the soundcheck and the two false starts, I tried with my CD player and EAC on PC and nobody seems to find the hidden track(s), I also tried with another CD that actually came with a hidden song before track #1 and they detect it, so it's not a CD player/software issue. Is my copy faulty or someone else does have this problem?

There's a lot of Coltrane I like but I just can't seem to enjoy this release as much as his others. It doesn't seem to be as focused and that's maybe because there is just Coltrane with the Sax and Rashied Ali drum'n away. I think I'd have almost prefered Coltrane without the drums. I only really like the drums of Rashied when he goes solo for a bit. I think when it comes down to free-jazz it's still good to have a cast of at least 3, otherwise it just seems like to much of a "jam" to me. I still listen to this one however but it doesn't get much play.
