Yeah well shit… bought this at a record fair (still in the shrink) for a decent price…. I was stoked and Ghost LPs cost an arm and a leg here in New Zealand.
Both sides are unlistenable… yes Popestar plays fine. Rats!!! -
Edited 11 months agoJust got mine from Amazon in 2024, no printed inner sleeve and no lyrics. Find that really odd, but it's basically a free EP with the LP of Meliora, so I guess it's alright. I just love reading the liners/notes/lyrics while I listen and there's really nothing to look at while I listen.
ETA: code still worked as of July 2024. -
Just recieved mine from Target. The packaging included a code, and both albums in black polylined sleeves. No poster/printed sleeve. The album itself sounds great imo minor clicks and pops (didn't clean only with brush) and 0 surface noise -
I really want this deluxe album but very hesitant to buy again unless the quality can be verified. Bought through amazon back in dec 2020 and had to return it 2x because both times is had the skipping defects everyone mentions - absolutely unacceptable. Not minor skips either if you know the songs, it completely ruins it. Probably got unlucky with amazon trying to unload bogus copies from their inventory but couldn't request a 3rd replacement. So did Loma fix this mess? Anyone know?

Mine didn't come with printed inner sleeve, and Meliora LP was really dirty, Popestar was clean.
Both records sound very good, no skips. -

Were these pressing errors ever corrected? I'd imagine not. It seems every single copy is scratched. Must have been an issue with the original plates.

Meliora skips multiple times, but Popestar plays fine. Sound quality could be better, but this is a digital release after all so that's expected. The EP is definitely the better in this set. -
Meliora LP skippity skip skip skip. Man that grinds my gears - brand new vinyl that skips...
