My copy has the following runouts...
Matrix / Runout (A-side runout, variant 3): -BG- 0190295996970-A 16910 2A
Matrix / Runout (B-side runout, variant 3): -BG- 0190295996970-B 16910 3B
But back of cover says Made and Printed in the USA. The US version has different runouts. Either way, great sounding copy. -
Unfortunately paper inner sleeve and visible hairline scratches. Otherwise good sound has a many pops and clicks.
-
Pressing very well done. Good dynamics. A little bright in the mastering but nice and clear sound. No issues with the vinyl. Silent with no pops

The Pink Floyd reissues sound great. This one though had scratches on the surface on both sides. Side 2 had clicks and pops, and this is the only record so far that I have to clean among these PF reissues. It is also the only one so far that came with a cheap paper inner sleeve (maybe the original came like this, so they want to "replicate" this?). The record was covered with paper debris. The sound; I find this one having a bit too much highs, and occasionally some sibilance problems on the vocals. The composition quality is night and day compared to Dark Side. How come they gained that much skills in such a short time? Their albums pre- 1973 is pretty inconsistent in skills.

Да, на моём экземпляре тоже есть поверхностные царапины, щелчки и шум при проигрывании. Не очень качественное издание. Хотя само звучание отличное.

Yes, my copy also has surface scratches, clicks and noise during playback. Not a very good edition. Although the sound itself is great. -
All re issues are amazing pressings, very well done job. For the money they worth it’s very rare to find such quality pressings. I wish that all re issues were like that but it is very rare except all the Pink Floyd ones. Just make sure to use aftermarket vinyl sleeves as this paper one with time will damage the vinyl surface.

I am a huge fan of the Pink Floyd remasters, they are incredible. But why did this one came in a cheap paper sleeve indeed? And side B has visible misprints on track 1and 4, it ruins the whole experience. I am getting a second copy hope they are not all like that.... :(

Edited 7 years agoGreat like the other 2016 remasters. Although there are a few things to point out. Such as this being the first one in my experience that does not have a plastically lined inner sleeve. Some others dont, like Animals, because they have lyrics and extras printed on. This one is just a black paper one and it feels cheap. The only other con is that there is an audioable surface noise in between tracks. Its more muffled like than static and I wonder if its supposed to be there or not. But its not a problem during actual music so only a minor annoyance still.
-
I have the same "problem" turnable1. The surface was scretching under my hands, especially the first time I pulled the disc out of the inner sleeve. And in the end...it scretched while playing too. How common that? I'm new to vinyl music and this is the first new disc I've ever bought. The sound is amazing, but those scratches...
