Automatic Cancellation Policy: Orders will be cancelled if payment is not received within 14 days.
To avoid all the complications with the annyoing new "shipping policy" I have set all items to "free shipping". Since mailing is expensive the total amount of every item includes 15-20 Euro for tracked shipping. So you would - if you order more than 1 LP - overpay for shipping. Therefore please get in touch with me, if you want to order more than 1 record and I will lower the price for the 2nd one or refund you the overpaid shipping amount via paypal.

The SHORT version:

I always send top packaged (vinyl outside cover) in a strong parcel (or 2 parcels = double packaging!) and of course by ed air-mail with tracking.

The LONG version! ... for those of you who want to know more and like to read a lot ... :-)

Hi there, fellow soundtrack-collectors!

Please allow me to introduce myself to those collectors, who do not know me yet:

My name is Wolfgang, I am from Austria, and I am 54 years “old”. A big fan of movies (mainly from the 30ies to middle 70ies) I have always listened with joy to the music used to underscore movies and when I hit upon a couple of unspectacular re-issues – however of movies I have always loved: The good, bad, ugly and The great escape – I started to collect soundtracks shortly afterwards (with the help of the then-existing fanzine “soundtrack – the collector´s quarterly”). That was when I was 18, 19 years old and since then the ion of searching for and listening to soundtracks has never stopped. A little bit of 30 years have ed since and my collection is meanwhile one of the most elusive I know of.

In those 3 decades I have made many friends – and some “Neider” – in the collectors community, bought many many soundtracks in more than one copy, when an opportunity came my way, and developed a lot of valueable s.

And that is why I am on discogs since a couple of years: not only to try finding those few still missing soundtracks for my collection, but also to sell duplicates from my own collection and to sell records collector-friends of mine ask me to sell for them on commission basis.

You might think that I am “bragging”, but with those many years of experience and the many s I have, I am able to find nearly every soundtrack out there (nearly every does not mean absolutely every, but most of them :-) ). So your wants-lists are always welcomed and I will do my best to help YOU finding those few still missing unfindable items for your collection (please note: I am only collecting soundtracks, so I can “only” help finding soundtracks, but unfortunately no other kind of records, since I do not have those other s)!

The records I have put up on discogs are just part of the records I have available: at the moment I have put up app. one third of all the items I have (as you correctly assume: including the rarer ones, the not-so-rare will follow as time goes by). But nevertheless it always makes sense to ask for specific items. The reason is that I do not put every record I get on discogs. If a record is on the wants-list of a long(er)-time customer, with whom I have made good experiences, then I do not put that LP/EP/45 on discogs, but offer it to the collector(s), who want(s) it. So it gives you an advantage to send your wants-list, because you get direct offers (of course only, if you do want me to do so!).

Records for which I do not have an immediate buyer will be put on discogs. If you see anything you want, you can buy it right away or ask me for any details you want/need to know. I will answer every e-mail within short time with all wanted information and the photos to show the actual item for sale. You can also ask for a discount, but only within REASONABLE limits (I don´t sell items for a fraction of what I put them up for! – safe your time and mine before asking for “absurd” discounts).

As far as CONDITION is concerned, I grade very strictly: a MINT- (I hardly use MT, but sometimes I do) item always plays perfect = sounds MINT! The very small hardly visible “imperfections” are only cosmetical on MT- items (many sellers and buyers would grade them downright MT). You can buy such an item without hesitation, it will definitely fulfill your – highest – expectations. NM records also play MT in most cases, just have a few more hair-/whisperlines, but are still hardly visible. In case of a few light ticks, I will note these. If no ticks are mentioned, none will be heard! EX+ copies will have a few lightly audible imperfection (still close to NM), VG+ items will have a few more, maybe a few which sound a bit louder. VG items will play with surface noise, but still be listenable. Lesser than VG I hardly sell. If you need details, always ask for specific information.

As far as PACKAGING is concerned, I do NOT economize on packaging material! I package in STURDY parcels and often twice: LP in parcel 1, parcel 1 in another parcel = parcel 2 (I call this “double packaging” and it costs nothing extra!). So also the corners of your dream-item will be protected superbly. I always take the LP out of the cover, I always put the item in plastic protection sleeves, I always print addresses (so the postman can read them), I always copy the addy´s I get, so no typos can happen. I do it the best way possible. I always send ed and also with tracking! For these reasons I never (never!) had a loss of a parcel, also never did any record arrive in damaged condition at the buyers address. I always mail within 1 – 3 days (weekends!) after payment, I always supply registration and tracking-numbers and the link, where you can follow your parcel.

I guarantee the best service you can get! And you will be happily surprised how great the best service possible is going to be. :-)

So let me know, how I can help you to find the still-missing-records for your soundtrack-collection and I guarantee it´ll be a great experience to buy from (or in rare occasions: trade with) me. Happy diggin´!
