GRADING

Grading is conservative. "Mint" is only used to describe factory-sealed products. NEAR MINT / M- is never used to describe media unless it was new and sealed and opened by Seller at time of listing. Highest grade on opened media is VG+. All items are visually graded but in some cases, details of playtest may also be included in the description. Alll vinyl and shellac discs are test-played prior to shipping to confirm accuracy of visual grading.

Seller makes every effort to accurately grade media at time of listing and confirms grading prior to shipping. Buyer understands that very rarely, upon closer inspection or light cleaning, media is found to be inferior to d grade. Seller will Buyer, prior to shipping Buyer's order, if item is found to give playback inferior to the d grade or if visual grading is found to be inaccurate. Seller reserves the right to change grading of media prior to shipping, in which event Seller will Buyer with remediation options that may include price adjustment and order cancellation at Buyer's discretion.

SEALED ITEMS are presumed to be MINT but are sold AS IS at BUYER'S RISK. Sealed items are presumed to contain media that is "as new," but the items themselves are not brand new as they are nearly always out-of-stock / out-of-print; second-hand; vintage; rare, scarce, or unique; nearly impossible to find replacements for; and command a as sealed items. Sealed items cannot be returned for any reason, in particular once they have been opened, as they are no longer in mint condition and they no longer command a , which adheres to the Consumer Protection Laws of the State of California, the sole jurisdiction in which the transaction takes place and that state: "When a store clearly displays a limited or no-refund policy, refunds and exchanges are not required by law. So don’t assume a store will allow you to return an item if you change your mind. Check the store’s return policy before you buy" (https://oag.ca.gov/consumers/general/refunds). Buyer understands that Seller has made every effort to accurately identify a sealed item and match it to the correct release in this Discogs database, but that this effort has been done by examining exterior packaging only while leaving item sealed and therefore, if a sealed item is opened by the buyer after purchase, details about media (labels, vinyl color, matrix / runout, etc) may be found to be different from the database release. Buyer is aware that Seller has only examined exterior packaging for signs that the enclosed media might have damage, and that sealed vinyl, in particular when pressed on styrene or thin vinyl (Dynagroove, etc), may become bowed over time due to the constriction of shrinkwrap, which is impossible to detect in sealed state. Buyer understands that Seller has no control over and offers no guarantees regarding deterioration of sealed media due to age or improper handling / storage, or any errors made at the factory, such as pressing flaws or playback issues, incorrect media, or missing media or "extras" (custom inner sleeves, promotional items, etc, that cannot be ascertained without opening packaging). Buyer is encouraged to upgrade shipping to include insurance on high-value sealed items.

RUNOUT / MATRIX collectors: Buyer understands that the Discogs Database does not include the majority of runout / matrix variations in existence. Seller has made every reasonable effort to properly identify every item offered for sale, but adding every runout / matrix variation encountered to the database is not possible. Buyers interested in purchasing a specific runout / matrix variant, please inquire and confirm prior to placing order. This service is not available for low-priced items, thank you for understanding.

PHOTOS / SOUND CLIPS: Photos of autographed items may be available upon request if "pic on request" is mentioned in the item description. As a general rule, however, photos and sound clips cannot be provided, as those services are time-consuming and counter-productive to Seller's business model and may lead to confusion in Seller's inventory system. Furthermore, posting sound clips online may be considered copyright infringement.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT DETAILED ITEM DESCRIPTIONS: Seller has taken care, at the time of listing, to write a brief but detailed visual description of the actual item and note even minor visual flaws in the published item description. Seller does so in an effort to obviate questions and allay doubts on the part of the Buyer. Seller hopes that Buyer will refer to the published item description and Seller's in making an informed decision prior to placing order. Seller therefore may not answer redundant or self-evident questions about an item's grading or playback quality. For instance, Discogs' grading guidelines clearly state that all CDs graded from "Good" to "Mint" will furnish the same quality of flawless playback, regardless of the number of scratches, scuffs, and other visual flaws. Seller reserves the right to block buyers, even potential buyers, who send repeated requests to confirm information that is readily apparent in Seller's published item descriptions and / or perusal of these Seller . In particular, obvious or redundant questions about low-priced items may be deemed frivolous, disingenuous, or a nuisance.

SELLER ONLY SHIPS TO U.S. ADDRESSES. s who do not have a U.S. Discogs and a U.S. shipping address are asked to refrain from inquiring about overseas shipping. ALL SUCH INQUIRIES WILL BE IGNORED and persistent inquiries will be considered attempts at fee avoidance and treated accordingly.

SHIPPING ADDRESS: Seller only ships to Buyer's address AS IT APPEARS IN BUYER'S PAYPAL , even if Buyer's PayPal shipping address is different from Buyer's Discogs shipping address. PayPal only offers Seller Protection for orders shipped to Buyer's PayPal address. Buyer is responsible for supplying Buyer's PayPal address through the Discogs order page and keeping it up-to-date. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST SHIPPING TO A THIRD-PARTY ADDRESS.

TIMELINE: Packages usually ship WITHIN TWO BUSINESS DAYS of receiving payment, (excepting Sundays and USPS holidays).

TRACKING: A USPS tracking number is sent with every order. Usually, the order status is updated and a tracking number sent very late the same evening that the package has been shipped. Please bear in mind that items ship from the West Coast (Pacific Standard / Daylight Savings Time)

MULTIPLE ITEMS: Seller's Settings automatically calculate shipping on multiple items in a single order. Please note that shipping costs are calculated based on media count, not item count. Simply stated, one item containing 2 CDs or LPs counts toward 2 in calculating shipping cost, one item containing 3 CDs or LPs, counts as 3 toward calculating shipping, and so forth. Buyer is encouraged to ask any questions about shipping fees PRIOR TO SUBMITTING PAYMENT.

PAYMENT: Buyer is required to submit payment WITHIN 4 DAYS of receiving invoice, otherwise order will be auto-canceled and negative automatically left by the Discogs Bot. If Buyer is unable to make payment within 4 days, please us before order is auto-cancelled. In most cases, an auto-cancelled order can be reversed, purchase completed, and negative removed.

SHIPPING OPTIONS: Unless Buyer requests otherwise, ALL ORDERS ARE SENT BY USPS MEDIA MAIL WITH TRACKING AND NO INSURANCE. Delivery usually takes about one week in the continental US, but may take longer depending on distance, high volume, or service disruptions. USPS Media Mail with insurance, USPS Ground Advantage, and USPS First Class are available for an additional fee, please inquire PRIOR TO SUBMITTING PAYMENT. Buyers who opt not to insured mail accept liability for merchandise lost or damaged in transit. USPS Media Mail with Insurance, Ground Advantage, or Priority is recommended on orders over $50, please inquire about prices.

PACKAGING

Every purchase is packaged with care. Very rarely, even a carefully packaged parcel is damaged or lost in transit. If this is a concern, please request and pay to a USPS shipping option that includes insurance. Buyer agrees that by not requesting to shipping with insurance, buyer accepts liability for merchandise lost or damaged in transit.

LPs are packaged according to Discogs Guidelines. Vinyl LPs (unless sealed) are removed from sleeves for shipping, but may be nestled inside a gatefold cover. Sleeves and vinyl are placed together inside a clear mylar protector for additional protection. Lyric or custom inners are placed together with sleeves inside mylar protectors and a generic inner sleeve is used to protect the vinyl disc. LPs and their sleeves are wrapped in bubble wrap and mailed in brand new cardboard LP mailers that are marked "FRAGILE - DO NOT BEND" on front and back. Larger orders of multiple items may be wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a cardboard box.

CDs are usually wrapped in plastic cling wrap, surrounded by sturdy, folded recycled clean cardboard stiffeners, and shipped in brand-new padded envelopes. Larger orders of multiple items may be wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a cardboard box.

45 RPMs are placed inside mylar sleeves, surrounded in sturdy recycled cardboard stiffeners, and mailed in brand-new padded envelopes.

SHELLAC: Shellac records are removed from their sleeves or album folders and shipped inside new mylar sleeves. They are floated inside an LP mailer or box and completely surrounded in padding on all sides, and double-boxed. Due to age and fragility, all shellac records are shipped with insurance. Buyer understands that there is some degree of risk involved in shipping shellac records, even when well padded and double-boxed.

CANCELLATIONS

SELLER IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO CANCEL OR REFUND BUYER'S ORDER. CANCELLATION IS DONE SOLELY AS A COURTESY TO THE BUYER.
If the Buyer decides to cancel an order prior to making payment, cancellation will be done, at Buyer's request, only after the order status has been automatically changed to "Cancelled for Non-Payment" (four days after the order has been placed). Seller does this because cancellation prior to the automatic change to "Cancelled for Non-Payment" allows both Buyer and Seller to leave for each other (a Discogs policy that Seller does not agree with), in the event that the Buyer has accidentally placed on order or has decided, for whatever reason, not to complete the transaction. Upon Buyer's request, Seller may remove negative for cancellation.

If the Buyer requests to cancel an order after having submitted payment but prior to the order being shipped, Buyer is liable for any shipping supplies used and a restocking fee of 10% of total purchase price of items ordered or $1, whichever is greater, an amount that will be deducted from the refund sent to the Buyer.

RETURN POLICY

Returns are considered on a case-by-case basis only. In the event that Seller agrees to accept a return, Buyer pays return shipping unless otherwise stated by Seller.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CAN SEALED MERCHANDISE BE RETURNED, ESPECIALLY ONCE OPENED.



Buyer will be left positive as soon as Seller has received positive from Buyer. Seller never leaves negative without reaching out to Buyer to resolve any issue, and expects the same courtesy. Buyer who has received automatically generated negative due to non-payment may request Seller to remove negative within the timeline determined by Discogs and Seller will do so at Seller's discretion.

NB: BUYERS WHO DEMONSTRATE THAT THEY DO NOT AGREE TO OR WILL NOT ABIDE BY THESE MAY HAVE THEIR ORDERS CANCELLED AND ANY PAYMENTS FULLY REFUNDED. Such buyers may be blocked form further transactions, which thankfully only happens very, very rarely. Seller intends to always maintain courteous and professional practices and to operate in good faith at every stage of a transaction, and kindly asks Buyers to do the same.
