Security Measure - Signature on labels:
For all records with a value of $200 (AUD) and above, I have applied my hand written signature on the label of the record using an invisible ink pen. This is a security measure, to identify my records, should they be stolen. It also acts as a signifier of an item I sold, to prevent a buyer falsely returning a ‘counterfeit/bootleg’ version of a record I sold them, or to stop a buyer returning a record in lesser condition than the one I sold.
The invisible ink can only be seen under UV light, so my signature on the record label does not have a visual impact.
