referencing Lunch (LP, Album, Reissue) EKS-75026
Terrific mastering of a great recording, with very healthy bass & clear-as-a-bell midrange. Soundstage is huge & uncompressed. Vinyl is dead-silent as well, terrific pressing. -
In Disaccord
Lunch is not too tasty. Something has gone wrong on this album – while performance and arrangements are still excellent the music itself isn’t interesting enough. “I just love the way you move you sure can sing the blues. Almost love the way you look more than the tunes you choose. Got to have you in my band to sing along with me. Something tells me by your tone you're good at harmony.” But now their kind of blues sounds too trite and Audience seem to have decided to substitute originality with pomposity.
