LW was the first of the 3 I picked up, so I'm partial to LW, but this album is just as killer - and the envelope filter on super-groovy 'Intrasport' set it apart (wish they did a microtonal synth-funk album)
My copy sounds great (mix-wise)- however, some pops and crackles on A1 - not having any luck with the microtonal pressings...
Y'ALL NEED QUALITY CONTROL!!!

The album is great, the sound on this vinyl is good, pretty noisy because of that recicled wax...I get the point with recycling but there are recycled vinyls that sound way better and less noisy ( Aesop rock garbology)

Yes, delicate, full-bodied, love how beautifully sounding are for example the accoustic guitar layers in Straws In The Wind, last track on Side A. The mastering is perfect for vinyl. Recommended, this one. -

Its great! Not much more to say than that the self released stuff by these guys continues to have a high quality and collectibility that lends itself well to adding to a collection

Edited 3 years agoHoly shit my copy of Double Denim is so good. Flat and very dynamic. One of their best pressings in their discography I've heard yet, and I have a bunch of them. Also this pressing goes with the album art very well

Put this on today, mostly clean but there was section on "Honey" where the sound got super compressed and fuzzy after the second chorus. Gonna try it again after a good clean, hope it's not unfixable. -
Huge manufacturing defect causing half these records to have dents all across side b -
I don't think this version included the recycled cardboard sleeve. My copy and the copies of others are missing it.
