And this is an audiophile pressing! I'm not gonna bother to talk about the content because The Velvet Rope doesn't need to be introduced, this is a masterpiece. But the pressing is simply amazing. Punchy and amazingly beautiful! The discs are heavy too. Simply amazing.

Agree with the sentiment below. Truly a fantastic and absolutely flawless pressing. The sound quality is reaching audiophile jazz levels. Super punchy bass, very high highs. The package is a beautiful thick gatefold and features spot gloss all over. -
Edited 2 years agoI pulled out my copy of this first-ever 2019 U.S. vinyl issue of this classic in honor of its 25th anniversary, and I'm blown away by the sonics. A very full, punchy, and dynamic soundstage with no distortion. Many musical details came across very clearly in this iteration that I never noticed in the original 1997 CD issue. Despite a very slight edge warp on side C of my copy and a botched fade-in that cuts off one of the opening notes on "I Get Lonely," Precision did an impeccable job with this pressing.
Also, the packaging is top-notch. Glossy, rich gatefold with a textured front cover and inner s and illustrated inner sleeves. No complaints at all.
