Lots of people seem to compare this to wormhole and of course it’s not the same. Optical’s early ethereal tracks don’t sound like wormhole either. Each sound has its own era. The creeps is house and techno influenced dnb. Especially listening to it now after a couple of years. Lots of energetic tracks on this one. Check out time, white lightening, Pac-Man, rock the house, flightpath are all hyper induced, while tracks like syringe are maybe a little more subdued and rolling. Overall you can definitely hear the progression from wormhole. And it’s a good one, like I said it’s a different era. Just like the first bad company lp and the digital nation lp that followed it. Every dnb head should have this in their collection, it’s a perfect snapshot of the millennium dnb sound.

I'm sure someone will disagree with me but I prefer this over Wormhole. This album came out when I was knee deep in raving at One Nation, Slammin, World Dance etc in 2000/2001 and most tunes got battered, very hazy memories of Flightpath, Resurrection, White Lightning and Rock Tha House being played most weekends! Very dirty album with lots of character...

Anyone selling only the jackets and all the inserts? I was able to piece this whole LP out of a record shop and got a fantastic deal.

Ed Rush & Optical - Pacman; No Pacman here, it's Space Invaders b-line. (is that why it's Ram Trilogy remix in most other places 'cause they mugged out?)

I cant belive there isn't a review for this lp yet. solid release from the virus camp. Pacman is Probably the most caned track out of the whole album. definitly prefer the original to the ram triology remix but it is also good. nice atmoshperic with really high energy synths. There is a reason why ed rush and optical are on the top of the game. i also really like flightpath. nice mix with a sweet drop. 5/5 FOR ME
