Does anybody know where the oh no (or something similar)-sample in need a man is from? sounds like the same sample as in baby ford's and thomas melchior's classic deep house track soul capsule - lady science (nyc sunrise) although i'm not a 100% sure

edit, found it: vicky martin - not gonna do it. the sample for together on this very record is lifted from the same tune and so is the sample for lady science for sure

Great EP. I also think that Need A Man, especially in the early parts of the track, sounds very similar to the start of hardrive-deep inside.

the "Together" track is very similar to Logic - Blues for You (Hard Dub) AMIRITE ?

As said by djsargent this can be classed as one of the all time classic UK Garage releases. Included are 3 solid Garage tracks and a basic drums bonus track. The three main tracks encom all that was great in the Garage genre at the time, raw beats with swing, funky deep bass, soulful keys and strings, and sampled diva ish vocals. The stand out track for me is Together which borrows a lot from the Logic - Blues for You (Hard Dub) track on Strictly Rhythm. It is hard to put your finger on why the tracks are so good on this release - but they definitely have a timeless vibe.

Absolutely amazing. Grant Nelson is a genius. This is probably my favourite record of all time. Together and Allnighter are two of the best garage tracks of all time in my opinion.
