What is wrong with this? It sounds like there's some weird phasing issue on all the tracks. Misaligned tape head? Or just a mastering engineer who doesn't know what he's doing? -
Edited 5 years agoWhat a mess! Utterly loud remastering, wildly unbalanced stereo spectrum, as the right channel output sounds much louder than the left one. Pity this happened to the re-release of such a seminal disco staple. Packaging is OK, bonus tracks are a real treat but Gloria's voice and talent should deserve more care and dedication than this. BBR did a better job with the remastering of Donna Summer's soundtrack "The Deep", a few years later.
