Yeah well it’s got a few highlights but it’s not got the magic I once knew chicane had. Too commercial sounding in places. The odd track here and there still sounds nice. But the samples of older 80’s tracks don’t really float my boat.

Barefoot is a great track, yes that track sounds like the real Chicane, his “roots”. The rest tho sounds pretty cheesy :(

EDIT: after listening to it again, it actually sounds pretty descent. Favorite tracks are:

      Barefoot
      So Far Out To Sea
      Titles

It took me a while enjoying Chicane again, his first 3 albums are something truly amazing. And after the beautiful ETA never got released, i was just fed up :(. Now slowly appreciating his newer stuff.

Yet another classic, stand-out album from Nick. Not a return to his earlier style by any means, but a slightly more commercial, heavier sound but still very unique and refreshing, certainly not cheesy like the Somersault album. Also this is mainly tech-house rather than his early trance style. Basically if you like 'Random album title' by 'Deaus' then you'll like this, very similar work. There are 2/3 tunes that don't really reflect his genius but they don't drag the album down too much.
