Edited 2 months agoTengo la edición original del 91 y no necesito más. La etapa "grunge" del canadiense, me deja un poco frío. Prefiero mil veces el Neil de Hey, hey, my, my. Por lo demás, esta p*** costumbre de reeditarlo todo, sin aportar absolutamente nada, me saca de quicio.

Neil is 100% grunge on this release, no accoustic song.
The take of sound is perfect as a studio one.
Good pressing. -
first of all, i'm glad that a reissue came out after 33 years.
the sound varies from scratchy to quite decent, but this is probably due to the old recording.
unfortunately i don't have any comparison options for this recording.
vinyls should have been in a trifold cover
inner sleeves are poison for every record, when will the sellers ever learn that?
no insert (not even 1 sheet) in a relatively expensive set is shameful.

I concur with the things others have mentioned. The mastering / sound quality is good, and the records are nice and flat with no surface noise (maybe I got lucky). I’d even say that the gatefold cover is really nice and WOULD be perfect for housing two records, but not three. Having two records crammed into one of the pockets smacks of carelessness. It really need a proper triple-gatefold style cover. And yeah, the paper sleeves are cheap-o and should have been at least poly-lined.
The music itself is fantastic. -
Edited 6 months agoNo complaints here. This music flat out rocks. Great separation of instruments and stunning clarity. Records come in a gatefold sleeve and felt a little snug but hardly an issue with music this good.
I wish I coulda saw The Horse in their prime. What a powerhouse. Love and only love is transcendent. Rock and roll can never die!! -
Probably one of the best, if not the best, live record from Neil and Crazy Horse
The pressing is more than fine, maybe a bit on the low volume side, but it sounds great nonetheless.
However, the packaging is disgusting for the price of this album. Still using gatefold sleeves for three vinyl records? There are no inner sleeves with photos of the show or the tour, just plain paper sleeves that aren't even poly-lined.
Very disappointed with that, given the time it took to get this reissue, we should have gotten something better. -
Yes, paper sleeves, so I replaced those with proper sleeves. No big issue. No scuffing on any of the three pieces of vinyl in this album for me. All the discs are flat and silent. Not seeing any of the issues being complained about on here. Mixed kinda quiet, so I had to turn it up a bit on my amp. Otherwise, I'm a happy camper.

Appalling sandpaper sleeves left all sides with rash. Thankfully the loud recording obscures most of the resulting rash noise. But, FFS!

the moment Neil sold his stuff , shit went down hill https://www.youtube.com/shorts/CJjjf2SoqV0

Edited 8 months agoAgreed. My LP’s are wobbly (Warped/Dished) which is a big drag. I have the Box Set too but like the idea of this version as a quick grab off the shelf instead of the hassle of shuffling through the Box Set. Sound is bright and sonically decent. My gripe is the QC could use some “Love and only Love”.
