Edited 13 years agoA monster of a tune which utilises the editing talent of legendary NYC duo, The Latin Rascals.
The production credits mention a "Det Reirruc" which is an alias of Ted Currier (spelled backwards....) who was responsible for a heavy amount of Boogie Boys output. He also produced George Clinton's 'Atomic Dog' which was an inspiration for many 'G-Funk' era tracks of the early 1990's.
My copy of this record is from a collection of vinyl once owned by Capital Radio's 'Boss In London', DJ Mike Allen. I still to this day he loved it and once played it on air and said one of his off-the-cuff quotes, "...all the other stations are still playing that wimp, Harold (Faltermeyer)".
