Edited 2 months agoBuilding on the success of their debut "Dive!", "Take California" was the breakthrough single for the Props, reaching #69 in the UK charts.
The eponymous vocal is from a '60s Nightshift".
A more laidback affair than its predecessor Take California And Party" with the Jungle Brothers on rap duties, but big beat was over by then and it didn't chart. (7) -
The photo of OJ Simpson carrying the Olympic torch in Santa Monica before the LA 1984 Olympic Games gets me every time I see this record.
