I dont know- I had a 70s pressiong in stereo- for me its odd to hear in mono which I didnt pay attention to. I dont think its clear as my 70s version- not sold on it asz being as good as`.... but its is good

This is my favorite Hendrix album. Listened to this with my Ortifon Mono SE cart. Fantastic clarity. Very nice pressing! Although I’m on the fence as to whether I like this or my 2010 Stereo Marino cut better. This mix is so much quieter and less punchy than the 2010 stereo. Marino’s stereo cut is so hot. Which I Love! It Should be hot! I noticed that the bass on this mono mix is In and Out. Whereas it is more consistent on the stereo cut. They’re Both beautiful pressings and each sound great in their own right. I’ll have to spin this a few more times, as this is the first time I’ve heard a Hendrix Mono mix. I’m so used to hearing this in Stereo. That said, this is an awesome record and highly recommended to any Hendrix fan
UPDATE: Although this mono pressing is super clean and sounds great, I’m giving the nod to the Marino Stereo cut. It’s just so much more powerful and dynamic. Still, the mono was interesting and a great addition to my collection. I just don’t think anyone can make this album sound quite as good as the Marino stereo pressing -

Are these the same stampers from the Classic Records release? It seem so but I haven’t seen it written explicitly so. All the same info tho.. 200g, QRP, BG. And that pressing is regarded up there with the UHQR version. -
Outstanding version of this album. If you have a turntable and like Hendrix this is a no brainer. Get it while it's still widely available.

This record sounds great, really, but it's a shame that they put an ugly barcode on the back of the cover.
