Having trouble identifying my copy. I got this around 89-90. The front logo and pictures on back are violet/pink. Thick black vinyl with large circle around spindle. Small B. Matrix has EDP,PL-903-A TR PA-5-84, PL-903-B TR 5-84. The spine has Misfits in white,Die, Die, My Darling and PL9-03 in violet/pink. No barcode or mention of Caroline. This appears to be the best match but not quite sure.

Yeah, this is a weird one. The big spindle hole is the easiest tip-off, as even the so-called "peach" colored printing can be confusing, too. (I have a first press, and it still looks purple to me. It's just not as purple [or pink] as the other pressings.) My big question / huge source of confusion is this: Did copies come with a poster of the Pushead graphic on the back ? Like, any copies at all? I bought my copy from a friend of a friend some time around 1986. With it he gave me a roughly 2' x 3' two color, folded poster of the aforementioned graphic which he said came stuffed inside the record. Again, I've confirmed it's a first press. Anybody else know anything about a poster coming with them?

Edited 10 years agoBuyers and sellers (not to mention the color blind) need to beware when it comes to this release. If the logo on the front side of the sleeve is purple or pink, it is almost definitely not a first pressing. The first pressing has a peach colored logo. See the following links for a comparison:

The first pressing run of "Die, Die, My Darling" consisted of 500 copies on purple 12" vinyl. A second run of 500 copies were pressed on white vinyl.[2][3]
