Edited one year agoI finally got around to listening to this album for the first time in my life. I'd describe it as a mature Queen. They did a great job piecing it all together from random hodge podges of songs over the years to make it seem like a complete record. Very clean sounding album. Wonder why they added a very quiet 22 minute ambient track called 13? Could it be to sound like a closure cut finishing Queens original band career and signifying Freddie's death? I think so.

Excellent album, and a great pressing & mastering job… I’ve not heard the original LP but this sounds fantastic to me…

My pressing is immaculate, some light constant surface noise, but this is just a result of the format and part of the experience. No warp, no pops. “13” is a notoriously quiet track and it’s perfect on my copy. Great buy!

Edited 4 years agoMy copy which I bought sealed from the factory, is missing the first vinyl's lyric sleeve.

Edited 6 years agoAlthough I can not compare sound quality with the first lp press, I really enjoyed 2lp issue from 2015. Very clean, low surface noise, practically zero clicks (possibly lucky hand) and excellent sound quality.
Considering the prices of the NM- first press, I see no reason why not to recommend to take this 2lp issue of Made in Heaven.
Full album lenght and beautifull ambient last track “13” is the great bonus.
Honest 5 stars from me. -
