Motörhead is the self-titled debut studio album by British rock band Motörhead. It was released on 21 August 1977 via Chiswick Records, one of the first for the label. It is officially regarded as the band's debut album, though an album was recorded in 1975 for United Artists which was shelved, and was only released in 1979 after the band had established themselves commercially.
Originally released on September 24, 1977, this grouping assembles all variations of the "Motörhead" album as well as its re-releases and subsequent remastered versions (some also contain bonus tracks or feature alternate covers). Bootlegged versions are also grouped here.

More like a compilation of the two first albums and the first EP.
Fluctuating sound quality on this Spanish Press due to different Compiled source material. Nice pressing despite that though. -

It's hard to believe that this is pirated vinyl. Gorgeous huge clear sound . After that vinyl, you wince at the digital version. Vinyl is heavy: at least 200 g. 5 out of 5

I don't think this issue has anything to do with the Big Beat reissues. It doesn't state Big Beat anywhere. Can anyone shed any light on this issue? Also strange that 2 stores are selling M/M "Brand new" copies. -

a year ago i wandered into a record store and flipped through the 'just arrived'. this was in there for $20. (TWENTY!!) it's now one of the crown jewels in my record collection and i'm damn happy to have it.
per the weenies on about the possible nazi propaganda....lemmy said on many occasions he detested the nazis. but he was also a major history buff, primarily WW2, so it makes sense. Quick crying and start rocking. or continue crying and read up on shit before making yourself look like an ass.
