My copy is flat and arrived clean. I had the same slightly-too-small spindle hole others referenced, easily cured. The sound is good. Occasionally, very occasionally, it is closer to great. The vocals are a bit deep in the soundstage for a band that traded on beautiful and rich harmonies. The sound is clean for the most part, but has a definite digital feel. I noticed several instances of rolling off the top end on major crescendos (e.g. Poison & Wine). I can almost visualize an engineer throttling it down at times. Multiple instances of sibilance (especially noticeable on John Paul’s vocals on MyFather’s Father, but these occur throughout). There is also some occasional surface noise, even after a VPI cleaning. Because I love this album so much, I’m still happy to have something playable. But please, AP or MOFI or Impex or VMP or somebody get these tapes and give this magic the pressing it deserves.

This pressing is ok. Not phenomenal but the sound quality is decent. A few crackles here and there but nothing terrible.

From July 2018 to January 2019 I've bought this record 2x from Amazon and 2x from Barnes & Noble, and EVERY SINGLE COPY skips several times in the first track. There must be a storage or manufacturing defect with this release, and I'm surprised there are no other reports of this because I can't be the only person who notices.
Along the lines of the other reviewer- I can't tell if the hole in mine is off-center, but on every single copy I did notice that the hole is a very tight fit onto the pin on my turntable, perhaps that's affecting replay somehow.
Is there really no one else with issues with this release in the 5 years it's been out?? -
The hole on my copy is off center and I get a lot of pitch changes as it plays. It makes my pressing is almost unlistenable.
